FiFi Chooses a Winner!

The Fragrance Foundation has announced that Denis Boudard, founder and designer, QSLD Paris and QSLD New World-USA, is the winner of the redesign of the foundation’s FiFi Award trophy. The redesigned trophy will be showcased at the 2007 FiFi Awards.The first phase of the design competition was held at The Fragrance Foundation in Sept. 2006 where a panel of judges voted to determine the finalists. These finalists submitted actual models for the final judging which was held Oct. 26, 2006 in Monaco at Luxe Pack International. For more on Luxe Pack, see page 8.

Sally Beauty, NBCL Announce 10K in Scholarships

Sally Beauty and the National Beauty Culturists’ League (NBCL) announced the ten recipients of the annual scholarship award. Each of the ten students will receive $1,000 towards their cosmetology education.

Scholarships were presented at the NBCL Board of Directors luncheon, hosted by Sally Beauty, held during the organization’s 87th Annual Institute, Convention and Show at the Renaissance
Cleveland Hotel.
